The Swiss Museum of Games, housed in the Château de La Tour-de-Peilz, invites visitors of all ages to discover games in all their forms. The temporary exhibition ‘Planète Jeux’ (running until July 2026) explores the links between play and ecology, featuring over 150 games, including 25 video games to try out. The new permanent exhibition offers a fun journey through different cultures. The museum also features a shop, an arcade and a board games area, where visitors can relax with a coffee or a cup of tea in a friendly atmosphere.

By car
A9 motorway, Vevey exit, then follow the signs for La Tour-de-Peilz and the town centre.
The Swiss Museum of Games is located in the Château de La Tour-de-Peilz, on the lakeside at 11 Rue du Château.
Parking spaces are available around the Museum, notably at the ‘Les Remparts’ public car park. Spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility and coaches are located in front of the main entrance.
By bus
Take the VMCV bus route 201, which connects Vevey, La Tour-de-Peilz, Montreux, Villeneuve and Rennaz.
Get off at the ‘La Tour-de-Peilz, centre’ stop. The Museum is about a two-minute walk away: simply follow the street towards the lake.
By train
Take the train to La Tour-de-Peilz station. The Museum is about a 5 to 10-minute walk away, heading down towards the lake.
You can also get off at Vevey, then take the VMCV 201 bus to the ‘La Tour-de-Peilz, centre’ stop. Check the SBB timetable before you set off.
By boat
CGN boats serve the ‘Vevey-La Tour’ landing stage, located at Quai Perdonnet 19.
From the jetty, take a leisurely stroll along the lake towards La Tour-de-Peilz. After about 15 to 20 minutes’ walk along the quays, you’ll see the château which houses the Swiss Museum of Games. As services vary depending on the season, please check the CGN timetables.
On foot
From Vevey, make your way to the museum via the promenade that runs along the shores of Lake Geneva. You’ll pass along the quays of Vevey and La Tour-de-Peilz before arriving at the château, situated right on the lakeshore.
From La Tour-de-Peilz station, allow about 5 to 10 minutes. From the quays in Vevey, allow approximately 20 minutes, depending on your starting point. A lovely walk with stunning views of Lake Geneva and the Alps!
