The ‘Chillon’ bus stop is located in front of the Fort, offering a comfortable, stress-free journey to and from Montreux or from Villeneuve.
By train
Direct train to Montreux (4 km away) or regional train to “Veytaux-Chillon” (300 m away).

By boat
The CGN landing stage is located near the Fort de Chillon Museum.
Get off at the “Château-de-Chillon” stop and take a 3-minute stroll along the lake.

On foot
If you fancy it, why not take a short stroll along the ‘flower-lined path’ that runs alongside the lake on the Montreux quays? Sheltered from road traffic, you’ll reach the Fort in 45 minutes (4 km) from Montreux and in 20 minutes (2 km) from Villeneuve.
Not far from the Fort is a beach suitable for swimming (unsupervised).
